One observation about the four and half years of Modi Sarkar is that, PM Modi takes credit for all the decisions/policies of the govt. He’s prominently featured in every promotional material of BJP, be it posters, advertisements or social media campaigns. But whenever the govt is caught in a controversy it’s always his battery of ministers who are placed in the front to defend the govt. PM Modi never responds! So, when Rafale deal came under a severe criticism, Modi Sarkar used every other person in the govt machinery to defend the deal. Indeed PM Modi was being shielded behind all these defenders. But when Rahul Gandhi made a comment that PM Modi was using a ‘woman’ to protect himself from Rafale allegations, many people were surprised and many were offended. Mainly because the comment came from someone who grew up in a political family with many strong women!
