For the last many years a client has been asking me to draw cartoons around parking crisis, for his company’s annual calendar. Every year it’s a huge challenge to come up with new yet slightly ‘hatke’ cartoon ideas. The client doesn’t listen when I tell him about my time-constraints which normally result in idea-constraints. But the truth is it’s always a pleasure to see my cartoons on a calendar, which lasts for 12 months! Unlike the cartoons in newspapers which mostly last for half a day!
To add to my misery, for the last couple of years this client has been asking me to do cartoons for yet another calendar! For his another company where he needed cartoons surrounding amenities at Indian highways! That’s fun! But again some more time-constraints.
