NDA govt at the centre did another u-turn to scrap the UPSC advt for Lateral Entry, after the opposition parties and even some allies opposed the move to infuse a large number of people through lateral entry.This is the third major u-turn after the scrapping of Broadcasting Bill and the review of Waqf bill.
